WALES COMMUNITY
FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Increasing access to fresh and great-value food in our communities

OUR FOOD PROJECTS

We believe that access to locally supplied food is more important than ever. That is why our aim is to link food producers and suppliers with the local community; to give easy access to healthy and great value food. Explore how we are working with the community, suppliers and volunteers through our food projects.

The project facilitates volunteers to link with food producers and suppliers to have easy access to healthy and great value food.

Communities across Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire will have funded direct support from a Project Development Officer in order to launch sustainable food hubs, which will focus on the needs of communities.

Pembrokeshire Fresh Community Vending (PFCV) is a pilot project that will give the opportunity for 24/7 access to Welsh suppliers and locally sourced produce.

Working alongside the current Wales Community Food Distribution project it will operate a flexible, inclusive, environmentally and economically sustainable distribution model, bringing together communities, food producers and suppliers.
