About the event

Wales Community Food Distribution, led by PLANED, is thrilled to launch its first Ceredigion food hub in July. The project facilitates volunteers to link with food producers and suppliers to have easy access to healthy and great value food.

The food hub in Lampeter will be launching on 16th July at 11am on the University Grounds. The community food hub in Lampeter will initially offer fresh fruit and vegetables with a view to growing produce range in the future.

This is the first to open in Ceredigion, whilst we continue to develop hubs across the South West Wales region.

Wales Community Food Distribution project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government

The Wales Community Food Distribution project and the Pembrokeshire Fresh Community Vending project both received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. Both projects successfully concluded in June 2023 and there is now no dedicated support upon the completion of the programme.  However, should you have any queries, PLANED as the previous administrators, may be able to assist.
